Engineer of Electrical Power Systems (m/f)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Electrical engineers in our office are responsible for various tasks in project realization, which includes:

• Developing electrical engineering projects at all levels of elaboration (conceptual design, main project, implementation project, and as-built project) using general and specialized computer software packages (such as ETAP, AutoCAD);

• Creating studies with characteristic calculations for power networks and other technical documentation for the purpose of power facilities using specialized computer software packages (such as DIGSILENT, ETAP, etc.);

• System engineering in power facilities, including relay protection systems, control, and automation systems (IEC61850);

• Testing facilities and equipment, factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), which include: testing of individual components of power facilities, functional testing of the facility as a whole until commissioning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates for this position should meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the field of electrical power engineering;

• Advanced computer skills, including MS Office;

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Eplan, or similar CAD programs is an advantage;

• Familiarity with specialist tools for network parameter calculations (Digsilent, ETAP) is an advantage;

• Familiarity with specialist tools for configuring and parameterizing numerical devices (Digsi, PCM600, Easergy Studio) is an advantage;

• Proficiency in using the English language in a professional environment;

• Driver’s license category B.
